Dr. Mohammed Hamdan is a senior lecturer of Accounting and Finance at Cardiff Metropolitan University and course consultant at CIFA Education Management Ltd specialising in delivering various subjects of accounting and finance. With a Ph.D. in Accounting from University of South Wales, Dr. Hamdan's research focuses on understanding the drivers of complexities of costing systems within various manufacturing contexts, including different sectors and firm sizes.
Throughout his academic career, Dr. Hamdan has published numerous articles in reputable journals such as The British Accounting Review, SN Social Sciences and Theoretical Economics Letters. His recent work delves into the nuanced ways in which various factors such as, performance expectancy, effort expectancy and initial trust can influence users’ behavioural intention to use digital currency.
In addition to his research endeavours, Dr. Hamdan is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and intellectually stimulating learning environment for his students. He is an expert in delivering different modules for both under- and post-graduate students. To name some, Dr Hamdan teaches undergraduate courses on UK financial services, Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, as well as post-graduate courses on the use of Accounting and Finance in making business decisions and the contemporary issues in Accounting and finance.
Dr. Hamdan also serves as a peer reviewer for several academic journals, contributing to the rigorous evaluation of scholarly work in his field.
